I seem to remember that with my Hyundai, the receiver starts in standby, you start the PC loader software and then switch on the receiver.

Hi ,

You need to switch the receiver off from the mains.Hold down the menu and exit button and then plug the receiver back into the mains. The display would show 0000, connect the null modem cable and press upload firmware. The progress indicator should start immediately if it doesn't, that means you have the wrong cable. You need a cross null modem cable which you can get from satellite dealer not from electronic shop.

Regards

Prince
