I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask this

I have a Strong 4620 receiver, I can get same channels in my channels list as our Pace sky decoder, Unfortunatley the sky ones are scrambled.
After reading and trying to make sense of the basics of satellite i have now scrambled my brain.

I have so far got some bin files, a loader, serial cable etc. Before I go and attempt to descramble sky on my 4620 can someone please confirm that it is possible to get free sky! all I watch is live Rugby matches, bugger movies news etc. just want sport.

There is no current way of decrypting the packages at 28'E without the official subscriptions for them.

Thanks Lancelot you just saved me a lot of wasted time. Might as well not try to get free sky :(.

can I copy from the pace receiver (subscribed) to piggyback my strong 4620?.

What does the key files etc that everyone seems to download/upload do then? Must be for different satellites asiaeast?
