Stuttering Playback on Sky+

Hi i need help or I'm going to go insane!
During playback all my programs tend to "stutter". This is really anoying. I have read through a couple of threads and all seem to lead to a HDD fault. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone confirm a fix?
 
You could try a full system reset which will clear the disk.
