Subtitles from *.ts files

When the Dreambox receiver records to the HDD, it creates a *.ts file for the recorded content.
If the channel sends subtitles, the information is still there in the recordings and can be viewed by the user while watching after wards.
I would like to extract (RIP) the subtitle information from the *.ts files, but I can't find any application to do this, only for commercial DVD's with subtitles on them.
Which applications handles *.ts files that you know of?
 
Have you had a look on videohelp.com?

Are you referring to sub-titles that can be turned on and off? If not I can't see any way to extract them.

Yes I did.
The subtitles I am referring to are the kind that can be turned on and off, not incrusted.
As I mentioned, I have no problem with a commercial DVD which can have several subtitles.
For these there are plenty of applications, but they all work on DVD files like VOB.
Using a DVD recorder and recording to HDD while selecting a subtitle, creates unfortunately incrusted subtitles onto the frames and are not extractable, so I am looking at the *.ts files which are great as they store everything there: Teletext, subtitles (different languages), etc.
There has to be a way to extract the information.

Thanks. I have seen this also. It uses ProjectX. Will give it a try.
But I have just found something very interesting which can make ripping incrusted subtitles possible, using RipDVD, and we thought it is not possible. :)

Incrusted subtitles is a common terminolgy. Used it only after googling and making sure there is such a thing.
SubRip uses "Hard Subbed"
I am sure that there are other terminologies.
 
Tried to extract the hard coded subtitles using SubRip, and it is possible but can take a very long time and a lot of hard work as it involves using OCR.
Next I tried ProjectX using a test *.ts file and it was really amazing. :)

I googled it as I've never heard of the word _http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/incrusted" Alternative spelling of encrusted."

I couldn't find any posts by native English speakers using the word in a definitive article- most were comments left in posts or blogs. The usage sounds like a misspelt translation from a second language that has been copied from post to post on the Internet. I'm probably wrong but still an odd word to use in this context.

Need a DVD Authoring software with subtitles support.
Checked several applications but they are not so great.
The only one that I like and has more than one subtitle costs $299 and for one subtitle costs $129 (DVD Lab Pro and DVD Lab Studio).
Also don't like applications that forces me to set my monitor to 1024x768 instead of 800x600. One reason why I like the DVD Lab.
Here is a list of what I have already reviewed. Need new applications.
