i have just recently upgraded to sky hd. i also have a sky+ box in another part of the house. i previously had a super combiner which supported sky+ and sky digital. i was told that the super combiner would not support these and to upgrade to a super plus combiner. i have done this and installed this in the loft. however i am still getting the same problem as before, as soon as i plug wires into the rf2 outlet at the back of the sky hd box, all the sky+ pictures get lines in them. and i have no joy trying to tune in sky hd into any of the other tv's. please can anyone help me?

Welcome to the forum stacey.

Sounds like your experiencing RF cross modulation. Try changing the RF output channel of the sky receiver and retune.

I would hazard a guess that the incoming RF signal from the aerial is too strong and the combiner is being swamped.

How is the Sky picture on other TVs when the incoming aerial signal is disconnected ?

As satellite man says try changing the rf output on one of the sky receivers, as both will be set to the same default channel (rf68), they will clash when they are connected to the super plus combiner unless both are set to different rf channels.

I presume your in the hidden menu now you have established they are both set to rf68?

You need to select a clear channel but without knowing what tv transmitter your TV aerial is on and what channels are taken up by both the analogue and digital UHF frequencies its hard to advise accurately, a quick google should help you establish this, once you have-avoid these channels and adjust the sky box outputs until you find clear channel a little trial and error may be involved.

Alternatively if the picture was clear with old receiver combination duplicate it.

To set the frequencies simply enter the required frequency in the rf output menu with the remote 21-68 then save.

Now retune

Try Ch36, this was mainly used for VHS video recorders and maybe clear.
