Trying to browse around the forum, and everything I click on, chucks up why not get tapatalk.

Yes, it is somewhat ubiquitous ... as it isn't a Sponsor's Ad, why not use Adblock Plus and create a Custom Filter?

That said, Tapatalk isn't a bad App at all and I use it quite a bit.

I'm cheesed off with it as well.

There may be a setting somewhere to stop it, will have a look.

I meant in relation to the pop up windows question, TapaTalk is awful these days, every second update it re opts me in to "Trending" for posts from this forum and there's threads that haven't been touched from 5 years ago plus in there............trending. So you disable it from the menu that applies only to this forum, for it then to reinstate itself an update or two later, utter shite, don't even get me started with the post editing glitches.....

And if your talking about the irony of the app signing each post, well there's no point disabling it because it will probs just reinstate itself after an update three days later. The App thinks its the super computer HAL 9000 from Arthur C Clark's 2001, but in reality its just a pile of garbage.

First thing I did with the excellent (bearing in mind it's available for free) Tapatalk App was turn off the sig.

That was three years ago and it has never returned ;)

The trick is to never update. If it works, don't fix it. Mine works, I don't fix it.

I agree entirely, but my obsessive tidiness means I simply cannot abide my various Operating Systems and Apps being "out of date".

So true, my mistake was not backing up an old version of the apk of the app I had pre facelifted colours and appearance that is the current ones look.

has anyone had any luck with suppressing the tapatalk pop up?

I have tried installing tapatalk and the pop up still keeps popping up.

I have tried a few different browsers, and still have to pop up!

Any ideas please?
