I'm getting this message for a lot of channels now. Sometimes I get them clearly sometimes not and get this message instead. I'm running Hydra Phoenix and apart from having to reboot the 5620 nothing else untoward seems to happen. Just wonder what this message means ???

Hi Jalmassi
Sounds to me you got a problem with your disecq. Are you running a motor?
Do you get good signal strength?

If problems persist, or if they appeared one day, might be good to do a flash erase and start fresh. Dont forget to back up your channel settings first.

I'm not running a motor but maybe the signal strength is suspect even though I paid to get the heads aligned. I'll do the flash erase and start again. Thanx very much for your help with this ;-)

well, it is pretty easy to see what the signal strength is. You can either see it in the sat finder, or in some images it shows when you select a station. Either way, once it gets weak you might get problems with the dreambox tuner.
If you got another box to check out the signal, that might
help.

It seems to come and go from 40% to 70% depending on the station. Some are always strong others tend to flucuate. I think I'll take your advice and see if I can borrow another receiver and see how that goes. Thanx again.

This message will appear when the signal strenght drops to around 50-60%

Has the dish moved? If they were previously working then the wind may have moved the dish slightly out of alignment.

This may also happen in bad weather like heavy rain, again the dish may be out of alignment.

If it was set up in good weather you may not have noticed anything wrong.
