Advice Needed Sx88+

Just received a delivery of my sx88+
I am not able to change language to English
It’s in German
When I turned it on all I can see the following

Tap the "EXIT" key on the remote control several times until you come right out to the main screen - then tap the "MENU" key, and use the Left/Right scroll buttons quite a few times until you come to the "INSTALLATION" icon. "SELECT" that to take you into the various setup menus., and then look for one that allows you to select the language.

PS: did you buy the SX88+ from a UK or German supplier???

It appears so ... i,v only used Blind scan and individual transponder scan on mine.

Hi .. Although i,v had this box for a couple of months now .. i,v only used it in a very limited way - (mainly for blind scan - because its quick and quite accurate) i,v not had time to study all the settings etc in detail ... there are others here on the forum who can advise you much better than me about its general use.
Mostly i use my old Dr HD - F15 receiver ...

Yes - one of my few "grouses" about that series of receivers (don't know about the 4k version - but that has far worse problems ATM).

The 8008 (4K) has minimal lag between channels unless you have set the video resolution to change on a per channel setting.

(or when moving between satellites)

Really don't like the way over bright over colourful menu options one bit personally. Much prefer the dulled down version some updates ago...these various iptv services I presume none of these are free ?
