Sy+ upgrade but no functions

Mornin' all.

Got my brother and law to ring sky and upgrade my existing card to my new sky+ box. He gave the details and was told that I had to leave the card inside and between 15mins to four hours I would have the sky+ funcionalities working...that was nearly 14hours ago!
Is there anything I can do or do I have to get my brother in law to ring again?

I'm assuming that you had the box switched on and not in standby for that period and can receive all transponders with your setup, make sure that your Brother in Law gave the correct details of the digibox, then get him to phone again.
 
will do. Had it one for most of the time (half an hour off if memory serves me correctly) I will contact my brother in law and see what's up.
Default transponders are coming in fine. 60/50 on signal one and 60/30-40 on signal two. I weill let you know what happens

This sometimes happens within the UK as well, signals are not sent from time to time, and it will be caused by an error by Sky. If this happens and there is a long delay in activation, phone again. Double check with the Sky agent the serial number and version number of the receiver, and the card number.
