Hi all,
I'm am going to be ordering the Fracarro Penta 85 dish (including motor) after reading the good comments on here and was wondering what size T & K brackets I will need (offset I believe). The dish will be going on a south facing wall so if I was going to get a 18" offset with the size of the Penta 85 what is the maximum east to west will it be able to see?

Also can anyone recommend a good twin lnb that would be suitable for the Penta?

Many thanks
Richard

Don't forget the Motor itself effectively adds to the "stand-off" from the wall, so it is quite possible you'll get the full visible arc even with 12" T&K.

I use 12" with an 80cm on a Motor, but have (briefly!) had a 1.1m up there and still got from 42E to 58W on a wall which faces roughly 15 deg West of South.

The motor is around 9 inches approx and the Penta El bracket about 6 inches equalling 15 inches to dish face if that hepls :)

As Tivu states a 12" t and k should be fine, if the wall is south facing!

My garden is south facing but my house is slightly offset and I found I needed 18" t and k brkts to allow a decent swing to the west.

Link to my penta pics may be of some use to you
