Table or window mount satellite

My Satellite Setup
VU+ Duo with ViX and OSCAM, Prof Revolution 7301 PCI Card, 2x Dreambox 500S, 80cm Technomate Dish with Inverto Black Ultra and TM-2600 DiSEqC Motor. Technomate TM-300D along with a few zone 1 minidishes that get moved regularly and a zone 2 for 19e a

Going to Uni next year and want to take my spare minidish with me so I don't miss my German channels. Went to Sunderland Uni's open day and looked at the accomodation and there was nothing I could attach a dish to anywhere outside so if I go there then I'll need some kind of indoor mount if possible. Is this possible and if so could anyone provide pictures as an example? If not then I'll have to hope Sheffield Hallam has something I could use.
 
What about one of those camping tripods for satellite dishes? Plenty on fleabay for you to look at
 
Funnily enough, I have one of those. £3 including the dish on ebay local pickup ;) The LNB was damaged but I had a spare

Well don't forget to buy your TV license as inspectors now come round all the uni's hall of residence checking who has and who hasn't, indeed you will probably have a letter about it in the first week or so, I know my daughter did last year

When I was at uni (over 10 years ago, eek) apparently the porters used to stop the inspectors from entering the building. However, my mate used to operate a 14" TV with a car battery as he said battery powered TVs didn't require a licence. But then he was an electronic engineering student so it was probably more done as a joke...
 
No, that certainly was true ............. a portable powered that way could be used away from "home", provided "home" had a licence (ie Parents).

We all did it, back in the late 70's (That's 1970s!).

I suspect today's Licence conditions are less lenient.
 
I was wide awake at 1am and tried for 10 minutes. Nothing on Astra 1 or 2. I think it's because it's an east facing window so I'll have a look at Hellas Sat as that should be a better angle

I chose the one on the left..and you can keep the dish..
