I have a TBS 5922, and I've had to reformat and re-install the laptop is was mostly used with.
I want to re-install the software that came with it.
Now I can't seem to find the original "mini-CD" that came with the card.
The stuff available on the TBS web-site does not seem to be the same that came on the CD.
Is the CD version "special", and how can I obtain that software again?

The software from the TBS site should work the same as the original CD. There are two different receivers, the 5922 and the 5922SE.

I got a new PC recently and it has no CD/DVD drives. They are going to be a thing of the past.

Do you know the name of the software? As I may be able to find the cd for my 6983 card, if the other software would be usable.

If that's any help to you?

That would be much appreciated.
I believe the software is the same (would be silly to carry multiple ranges / branches of software for a product line).
The difference is the drivers (which can be downloaded from the website).
The stuff (such as the TV reception software) is OEMed to TBS. They do not want to this to be freely available from their website, so you need the CD.

I've spent two hours today going through all the piles and boxes and computer bags that could host a CD-rom on the loose, but have had no luck whatsoever (i did find another CD-ROM i've been missing for two years, but that's another story...)

If we can find some way of transferring an image (e.g. Dropbox, it would be really helful).
