Advice Needed TBS 5925 driver problem ?

I think I have been conned. I bought a 5925 from TBS 5925 USB Professional DVB-S2 TV Box 16/32APSK ACM VCM GS Streaming because of the cheaper price but I wonder now if I have been cheated as the seller says what seems like to be conplete nonsense about a new driver not locking DVB-S2 singals and so until this is sorted it appears that he will not send it

"tbs 5925 new driver have little problem, it can show dvb-s2 transponder signal quality and strong in dvbdream but can't lock it.
tbs will solve the problem soon then update it in TBSDTV website. i using before version driver tested working well. i will burn it in CD for you. when you receive tbs 5925 they should solved the problem then you download new driver on official website"

148 Euro, that is almost half the price. Seems too good to be true. And probably is.

The only reason my 5925 is not displaying S2 Signals is a codec problem with windows. Otherwise the box works perfect. I am not using DVBDreams though.

Didn't 6925 card suffer a similar fate after around a year or so of use?

A known problem with the TBS6925, not sure about the 5925.

Seems ok here......using:-

TBS 5925
Driver 2.0.0.4 (from official site)
DVB Dream v2.8.1 - BDA
Windows 10 - 64 bit

Luckily or not .....the 5925 has been trouble free so far....no complaints.

Actually it's not that cheap in the UK at £150 approx what ever that is in euros anyway see what happens...

All's well, the seller like to test before he sends out any 5925 apparently, he says TBS have now fixed the locking problem now en route to my location...I presume the 5925 works fine with windows 10 and crazyscan / Ebs pro etc unlike my Prof 7500 which is hopeless
