How to use TBS5927 USB receiver like realy portable device? What power source do you use? Powerbank? Which one? How much is the consumption of TBS+DiseqC motor? The original power supply is 12 V/ 2A. I thought about power from laptop USB, but from 5 V USB port is problably not possible to do 12V/2A... What sollution do you use?

No, i need something smaller. I can do it with aku, but would be better use something more user friendly

A smaller auto battery 12V then.
 
Try the Ebay (or wherever) for a lithium ion alternative. This will pack more energy per gram than a lead acid alternative. They do cost more though.

Paul, this is exactly what i need! Thank you for info and link. U searched powerbank, and they are very expensive, this is perfect solution also for my Perseus SDR.

If you buy Super Rechargeable for 5927,please tell me/us how long the battery will last and how it works with your device,especially 5927?

Yes, i will write my experiencies! But i think, when power supply is 2A (and this 2 A could be max only when rotate diseqC motor, normally will be consumption i think maximal 0,5 A)... So then 20 Ah battery pack will work quite long time:-) I thought to build the TBS5927 into the box from old (but never used) DVB-T STB with battery together. Will be quite bigger, but compact and portable. The air for fan should be also no problem because the box has nice grid...
