good luck with the new setup paul looking forward to following its progress :-),
Ok, just about for switching from one satellite to another, but not for zapping. Also fixed LNBs allows you to have your channels lists in any order.Tivù said:Frankly, the transit times for a DiSEqC Motor are perfectly acceptable for use on the main Satellites of interest to UK based hobbyists.
The offset would be for quick switching of stronger satellites from your favourite position. If you need all the signal you'd swing the dish over.Piltdownpaul said:I'm quite happy with a single lnb on a motorized dish. I'm more interested in looking at each satellite exactly than picking it up from another lnb along the arm and not receiving all transponders because its so offset with a poorer signal.
I'm the same which is why I only put satellites I can receive the entire range of transponder in multi-sat configuration. Nevertheless, when my first tuner is tied up with a recording and I'm using a motorised for zapping it's painful.Piltdownpaul said:I'm more interested in looking at each satellite exactly than picking it up from another lnb along the arm and not receiving all transponders
