A freind of mine has one of these boxes. Its a good few years old and was provided for the reception of the Christian Network. A few days ago he changed the remote control type to sat2 on the onscreen menu system and as a result his remote control being a sat 1 type no longer worksd the receiver. Does anybody know how to switch receiver back to accept sat 1 remote again. I know its done by the remote but as its now been changed to respond to sat2 he no longer has access to the menu sytem to make the change back. Ive searched the internet for a way to do this but so far without success.

Blimey you dont see many of those boxes around - the pay God channels venture was a disaster!

Ive only ever seen a handful turn up on Ebay.

never heard about,that a technisat receiver has to diffrent remote codes!

go in a tv store,the can check is your remote working or not,replace the batterys check the contacts!
try to make a complete system reset of your stb!

also the remote sensor itself in the receiver can be fault!

oem receivers of some brands,sometimes using to diffrent remote codes,the hardware is the same,but when the soft is diffrent,the remote code wil be also,for example in the past some kathrein and hyundai boxes,when you load software of other receiver,into the same hw ,remote on hyundai with kathrein soft stops working and via versa!
but technisat,stbs are not a oem product!
same you can see on openbox clones,where are alot on the market with difrent remotes!
