Does the same thing on a Ka scan when trying to delete channels.
Re: Ka LO input - it will not save a 'Single User' LO setting and scan, but when using the 'Dual User' LO setting box and set the LO to be the same in both boxes, it will save it and scan. If you use the 'Dual User' LO option and only put the right LO i one of the boxes only, and leave the other box setting to all '0' it will not scan. There is no option to choose H /V/L/R polarity setting - you have to use the 'lnb voltage' setting of either 13v or 18v to get you the right on-screen ch information.

That does sound like software only, so the first patch should fix the gremlins.

The initial fag packet GT Media was a nightmare as well, sorted some five months later.
The only hardware issue I came across was the tuner input falling off (though you can't bolt a TV via SCART to it )

Grumble list is growing, but for the time being here's a couple of pics.
1st 'Plus' side = Tuner sensitivity/performance very good. Tested alongside 2021 model GTMedia V9 Prime on 18GHz Ka, the TM still gave lock whilst the V9 dropped out when doing simulated signal drop. Initial thoughts on TM picture quality-poor compared to other cheaper models of sat rx's.

It is available from the TM site. I think they have just enabled Multistream as far as I can see..

Problem with codecs

I have DVB Dream, ProgDVB and DVB viewer installed on a computer running windows 10. None of the HD channels on 28.2 east will clear FTA ones. I have tried several different codecs but none seem to clear the HD channels. Anyone got any idea how to fix this please

The new patch has caused a data base error where if you move or delete channels it moves some to 53e, TM are aware and patch being worked on.

Seems over a week since last promise fromTM of an update, the stb is left to the same fate of the F3/Mini from few years back.

.. yes, it started off looking promising with the fairly quick response of issuing patches etc to start making the stb more promising but then they went to sleep again

They said the delayed launch was to stop it being released with issues lol, It's riddled with them.

After email last week of a new sw/patch from TM, that day, suprise suprise nothing arrived and they go back to ignoring emails.
Seems a strange tactic, they ask you to help and send them feedback of faults etc, then they wont reply to you?
Another lost cause I think.

Thank you for your work and report. I was going to buy another Technomate, its looking like I will be another Octagon when I upgrade.

The mentality of R&D and PR for that company is completely non existent - they have had the opportunity to attempt to regain some credibility from past disasters and as usual have blown it again. They surely must be aware of such things as satellite forums around the world that would only be too happy to give glowing reports of a company or it's products if it were deemed justified - sadly they just attract negativity that's viewed world wide.

The box was more stable with the factory version 1.0 software, unfortunately you cannot download that version as its not on there site. what a shambles..
