Hi,
I have a technomate 5500d and when i try to set limit it`s coming with a password box and i don`t have the code . Any suggestions ?

if its a new box,it might be the factory 1 with is 0000,try it
 
It`s not a new one , i tryed 0000 but doesn`t work .What happens if i reset to factory settings ,how much information do i loose?

all of it mate,a factory reset resets everything,so if you got all your channels they would have gone,what you need is some sort of loader editer to save your channels on the pc,do a factory reset,then add channels back in,

On my Technomate 5000DA if I want to do a factory reset I need to put in password before it will carry out the reset. If yours is the same you might not have any joy.
