I have a new TM6900 S/Combo plus, and can only instal Digitv softcams. With slots here and there, would this enable me to unscramble some sat. channels apart from THOR. Most importantly, can I view on other satellite signals channels like Living tv and UK Gold (I'm in UK). What options do I still have; as I have finished with sky.

I have moved your post from a 4 year old thread and started a new thread, this way you should hopefully get more of a response.
The only package currently available, on general emulation, is Digi TV on 1W, but you can pick up a few other channels, including all the FTA (Free to Air) channels, look for a list of available channels where you get your softcam keys file.

There are some reasonable FTA channels on Nilesat and Badr.
There's also a number of channels on 23.5E, mostly in German though.
No, you cannot get those UK channels from other satellites, its Sky or one of the other Digital TV providers that you need.
