hi all
can any one tell me how to fix the box above .
i have 2
1 is clicking showing er2 without anything plugged into it.
2 is dead there is volatge presence inside.

at least i want to make one out of the 2

any ideas

Are they are the same board designs inside ?
Is there is visible damage on either/both ?

As expected. If it can't detect pulses from the sensor it will give this error.

yes they are identical even one is moeteck and the other is technomate
it does give the error on display even when it's plugged in so literally when it detect the actuator it just move either west or east till it stops and then it start ticking ( fine tuning noise ) i can't turn it off from the remote it just freeze till disconnect it from mains.
it's not the reed switch on the actuator ( because i have a spare positionner working fine ).
i am tempted to start swapping the IC's around everything else seems to be fine relays diodes resistors etc ........

All components can be changed except the microprocessor!
I have several V-Box schematics; take a picture of yours!

I cannot understand what you are describing here... Is it just me?

i am trying to fix the positioner is that a problem are you alright ?

here is the schematic
power up the v-box and put a voltmeter on R9 . make sort circuit between pulse and gnd on rear connector.
you should have 0/5v when you made short circuit or remove it.
if not maybe the opto coupler is dead or D1 D3 etc

just a quick feedback
the positioner on the left is back in action i have found under a magnifier a dry join on pcb resoldered it and it seems fine.
the one on the right is dead i will have look at drawing you sent and will feedback on here
