I've been asked to install one of these nearby , I've requested pictures before I commit, since I cannot find any detail online about a specific design.

Does Technomate actually manufacture a reflector - mesh or solid - or is it going to be a branded or generic item ?

If the latter, what one is normally shipped ?

So, it could be a bitser, the imagery suggests the original may be a Triax derivative.

The Technomate kit is normally OK, I believe they build their receivers, but everything else is just branded, like their DiSEqC motors. However it's normally reasonable quality, don't think Triax make dishes now, they also buy in and brand them.

I'm slightly concerned about installing a 1m mesh dish, (recalling the Lenson Heath 'holey bananas' of old), moreso since it is also to be motorised.

I was having a look at their solid dishes earlier this summer and they sent me over some pictures.

Probably, especially if you use "too much" resin. I’m thinking of using 2 K brackets for extra strength. Should I just use resin on the fixings for one and go ‘naked’ for the second?

They also look like reflectors from another manufacturer.

It's a pity that many famous reflector names have been consigned to history.
