When recording a programme through the timer, when the timed recording ends the receiver goes into standby. This is annoying as this receiver takes about 3 minutes to get to PVR ready status from standby. Is there any way to program this receiver so it doesn't go into standby mode at the end of a timed or epg recording?

have you tried looking in your PVR settings, i know on my dm800se you can choose what it does after the recording.

How do I do that?

I would take a look in system settings then time settings and make sure the last 4 settings are turned to off :-).

They already all turned to off but receiver still goes into standby mode at the end of a timed recording.

Here's a similar problem with the same machine / PVR combination (Technomate TM7102 HD-T2):

The PVR is recording a new programme which I have set to record from the EPG.
While this is going on I am watching an older programme already on the PVR which I had recorded earlier.

When the new recording gets to its end, the receiver switches off / goes into standby without warning
and I have to restart it to get back to the programme I was watching.

Any ideas how to stop this happening?

I have looked through all the menu settings and the manual and I can see nothing about this issue.
