Hello,

Im after a technomate box.. Looked around but all prices seem to be up and down :(

Im after either 1000 or a 1500ci, 1500ci with prefrence.. is there any official sites that sell them, went on technomate site and they have them on there.. but dont have the options to buy :(
 
Unfortunately most manufacturers do not sell direct, but if you scan around there are many companies around with good deals, I'm looking at one now in the google ads above and I'm pretty sure that one of our banner advertisers do them as well, I always like web sites with a landline number on them as well. :)
 
I bought a (new) 1500+ci from a power seller on E-bay uk 3 weeks ago.
He has 340 stars and 99% positive feedback. His seller name is 'cempriot' from London - I ordered Tuesday and got it on Friday. The box was perfect and I am delighted with it. Only thing is - if I'd waited until the new model was out - I see he's selling it for the same price. £107 + £9.99 p&p (48 hour)This is the ' buy it now' price.

Anyway

Could you answer me this question... the 1000 CI and the 1500 CI are the same box?? (same speed etc etc)?

If so , do you see anything wrong with spending £70 on the 1000CI ??


Get sick of my very poor manhattan box, updating keys on it is very rubbish.. (Remote Control)
 
The blind search/power scan on the older TM 1000 series is very very slow (takes hours), otherwise they are up to the usual high standard of Technomates for the price. Go for the 1500 super.
 
1000ci has cam slot and 1500ci + has cam slot and card slot i would go for the 1500ci+ if you plan on using cards if not 1000d all you wil need
 
the blind search on the new 'super' range is very, very fast....the fastest in the world!

hotbird took me about 8mins, hispasat 9...etc

manhattan, fortec, etc, are much slower than technomate and take lots of hours
