Is there any way of recieving Terrestrial Aerial TV Stations through the reciever set top box?

Not sure what you mean.

yes you can receive digital terrestrial channels on a satellite receiver my vantage receiver has satellite and dvb-t tuners in it

if thats what you mean there is a few combo receivers out there with dvb-s and dvb-t tuners

Wasn't aware you could on a Technomate 5200D USB

I can receive BBC/ITV/ch4/five etc on my technomate ,if thats what he means

Well that was my point, how can you answer a question if you don't really know what the question is.

Are we taliking about British terrestrial channels, or Irish terrestrial channels, are we talking about the poster's Technomate satellite receiver, or some other set top box?

As it's Friday, the answer is yes no maybe not:)

OK, I'll go with that logic. :-rofl2

All the Irish channels are encoded on the Astra 2A satelite and I want to get them. You can get them using the aerial on the roof but its difficult to go back watching them again after watching a beautiful digital signal. So thats my problem.

The RTE channels are scrambled on satellite and need an subscription registered at an Irish address
