Tried incredimail a couple of years ago and was very disappointed, multi account handling was terrible or non existent from memory, just seemed to be a lot of flashy unwanted addons like smileys.

Perhaps it's improved now.

I agree rolfw Outlook Express just works, not flashy but reliable...
