Well in this case it should have been local farmers who try to bolster their coffers at this time of year, such a wet year means little money will be made from selling pumpkins this year as disease seems to have taken over the whole crop

Well that crop needs to be totally removed and the field sprayed or the blight will be back next year.

I have to ask - what is the point of pumpkins? They're barely edible and need to be mixed (hidden I prefer to call it) with other foodstuffs to be palatable at all.

Ah Munch obviously liked them, but yes soup is the norm and toasting the seeds in salt water for a snack later
