If you didn't understand the title (and who would blame you?) I'll explain. The solutions relate to records that were number 1 in the charts over a 20ish year chronological period (when it begins and ends will become apparent once a couple are solved). Additionally the records were Xmas hits in different countries, though I've had to include more than one from the UK and USA. E.G. one answer could be the Xmas number one in Azerbaijan in 1955 (it isn't by the way) Remember the clues relate to the song title, the year and location has no influence in the clue wording. You can have kudos points for naming the year and country but I will post that info when a song is guessed correctly. As usual only two guesses per person per day. The judges say is final but may be influenced by a delivery of whisky from Amazon France. Bonne Chance.
