Well a mate of mine wanted me to go and put a dish up for him. We went to get a basic 65cm fortec star one from Craplins. The bracketry was so flimsey we had to take it back. Gonna get something way more sturdy online.

Anyway.... he had an old rusty minidish in his garden and not wanting to go away having achieved nothing, we decided to set it up for a few days on an unusual mount. We didn't have a spare car tyre to hand you see :D

Worked a treat!

Excellent, innovation is always good to see.:) Is that a meter hanging from the cable?

Yeah I used a cheap squarker to align it "by ear". Took it off after though. Even went to the expense of 2 inches of self amalgamating tape on the F-connector!
