The new Sky HD+ 1TB box, good?

Channel Master 1.2m with Jaeger SMR1224.
My Location
Stockholm, Sweden
I wonder if the new Sky HD+ box with 1TB got a better tuner for weak signals than the older Sky HD boxes?

Anyone done any tests?
 
Can't comment on the 1tb box, sorry, but the Thomson box has an excellent tuner, not a very good power supply mind you but an excellent tuner!

I already have the Thomson DSI8215 box, but i don't think the tuner is so good in Thomson.
 
With respect, I don't agree. It's an excellent tuner, it gives me a picture on weak transponders when my Spiderbox HD9000, Humax HDCI-2000 and dreambox 500s all give me a 'no signal' message.
 
Well compared to my old IPBOX9000HD and current VU+ Duo i had they both beat the Thomson easy on weak signals.
 
But has your Thomson had an upgraded PSU fitted? If not try one ( a good one) and you may be pleasantly surprised.

I don't know if PSU is upgraded or not, but my Thomson doesn't have any problems.
