The TBS 6522 Vs TBS 6983

I have spent the last 3 hours scanning 36°E with my sat cards, the tbs 6522 and the tbs 6983.

The TBS 6522 Scan (took over 2 hours to scan)

The tbs 6983 scan (took ten minutes) 41 transponders found.

Use BLScan2 mode.
 
I scanned 36E-Eutelsat 36B/36C with the tbs6983 card and the tbs6590card (the same hw as 6522) and with both cards the time to search and lock the signal was much faster than with your cards. For 6590 I set the steps of the search at 1.0 MHz,and the scanning and locking was only 5 min and 31 sec.For 6983 I set the steps at 3MHz and the time was 4min and 87 sec.
For this test I used the Ku-band lnb(IBU) and 1.1m dish
I also scanned at 36E Express-AMU1(Rassian beam),this time with circular lnb on T90 dish.I've set up the 3MHz search steps on both cards,and the time for tbs6590 was nearly 49 sec,and for tbs6983,it was 77 sec.
I do not understand why you scanned 10700-10950 MHz when it's known that Eutelsat 36B/C is not transmitting anything here.But even in such situation,the scanning time had to be much smaller with both cards!
Of course I don't know why it takes so long to scan and lock,but if you think it can help (more indicative),post the tests I made to this position.

ps_Now I see @CrazyCat gave you the right explanation.I thought you ticked this mode in CS.I keep this mode all the time.

Step only for BLScan mode. Simple mode step by step blind lock and bypass carrier +step if transponder found.

BLScan2 mode is accelerated blind-scan - first analyze spectrum, find edges and try blind lock. So step param only for RFScan and BLScan.
