BigSat BS-S 501 xtra Freesat Box, Pace Skybox DS440N, Humax Foxsat - HDR
My Location
Costa Blanca South
After managing with the help of members to sort out various problems with my sky freeview reception I am now getting the message 'There is a technical fault with this channel please try later'. I have had this before on one or two channels but now it is on every channel, is this a fault of mine or Sky??

Been struggling to access the Forum since having an afterthought!

Thanks for that. Have rebooted the box and needed to reset the default transponder but everything looks ok now.

:D .............. Always the first port of call with Sky Boxes!

Prone to glitches - but if it happens often, start to suspect a box failure in the offing.

Having looked underneath!! Model is Pace DS440N.

The reason I asked was in case it turned out to be a Model with well-known incipient failure modes.

Yours is not one of them.

It was almost certainly a glitch :)

Although the 440 and 445 do not perform well at all in fringe areas.

In fact I gave some way for free they were that bad - I couldnt bear to charge people for them!
