i remember working in a bungalow few years back(spraying for woodworm)the chap himself had removed all insulation so all i had to do was carry out treatment, about 8'from the hatch i found a small safe opened inside was gold teeth/rings/braclets paper work etc.went downstairs to find the chap reading paper and supping tea(git)he didnt even raise his head just put it beside him, finished job went back to office and told govenor who turned round and said,THE CHAP IS A RETIRED CID cheif CONSTABLE,me thinks it was a PLANT.

in another empty house i found a solid silver ciggie case(which ive still got)
and in another in a cupboard above the stairs tucked round the corner in a plastic bag about 20 mature content videos,i took them home to carry out some research then left them on the kitchen worktop for the new owners to find.

When i was a sky subbie i called round to a service call, dish sited on the chimney, got all kit out was re-aligning dish and noticed a Bosch 24v drill sat inbetween chimney potts, took it down and showed customer he informed me he'd had dish installed 6 months earlier and last engineer must have left it!!!!!!!!!!!!! he asked me to return it to him, how i would know who left it is beyond me but just incase i ever saw him ;) i left it in my van :-rofl2

When working in a loft many years ago, pulling cables from one end to another, I found a pile of fetish magazines in the old water tank that I had to move (gasmasks, rubber and plastic). The man of the house was out and since the wife wanted to check the work when finished I chose to move the magazines out of view and cover them with an old set of drapes.

All went well until I got a call the following day from the man, who questioned why I would move his wife's collection of 'Smooth' magazines as she had been a reviewer for a number of years......

Whenever I'm doing any work for customers and it comes to tuning I always turn on video/DVD player and play whatever is in the machine to demonstrate all working fine before I leave, it's amazing how many people leave a mature content in the machine, look of embarresment on their faces is priceless ;)

Nothing to do with satellite stuff but workmen were up in our school water tanks over the summer - draining them & painting the inside. In one of them they found a complete computer! :-rofl2

Heaven knows how long it had been there but it has to have happened before I started there 11 years ago....

I vaguley remember a story of the Geography dept having a 486 stolen in the mid 1990's but unfortunately I didnt actually see the items recovered :(

Wasp nests/mature content Stashes of varying degrees of "taste" are also found on a regular daily basis.
However the best find was a cat under the floor,of a house,it had run down the hatch when i was away from the worksite on a tea break,on returning i screwed the hatch down after the end of the shift.Owner of the house called for me to rescue the cat, duly obliged to a barrage of abuse!!!

I bet you got a big tip:-rofl2

Several times, during dish installs, I managed to "find" girls of various age at roof, taking sunbath. Sometimes - topless :)
