Planes coming in to land have been experiencing a wobbly descent as they've been buffeted by high winds

I've been in and out of the house like a yo yo with the weather trying to get some things done in the garden, my wife called me for tea. I took a few pictures of the fence I am making higher for more privacy 10 minuets after we had this :eek: wtf going on with this weather :(.

That's pretty normal for LBA, especially with Jet2, who seem to have a cavalier approach to Pilot training !

I never used to bother, but SWMBO loves travel (Well, being there as opposed to getting there) and I've been swayed. We do tend to go to quiet, rural self-catering gites/villas and try to be as local as one can be with a Yorkshire accent!

Avez-vous du fromage, ecky-thump?
 
We are doing a bit of 'ecky-thump' up in Wensleydale next week, first holiday of the year, can't wait!
