Titanium,elvis problem

have a titanium card and an elvis programmer.
i enable phoenix mode with mp 3.5v1.51 @ 3.58Mhz i then run Cardprogger1.9.0.
Settings in Cardprogger were set to com1 etc.
Clicking the connect button i receive an 'unable to open com port' error on com1 which is where the programmer is connected 2. is this due to the fact that mp 3.5 is using the com port (it's open) and Cardprogger see's it as being in use by another app or whatever thus spitting out errors.
Any suggestions would be helpful?
 
I can't test this for you Herrste, as I don't have an elvis anymore, once you've used MPset and turned on the programmer and Phoenix mode, you should then be able to either close or minimise Multiprog.

I take it you have gone through the erase card procedure first off.
 
Sorry getting confused here, thought you couldn't get Titanium Progger to see the Com port?
