Tivusat Encryption Change

Italian tv company mediaset have recently made changes to their encryption so that the old nagravision cards no longer encrypt channels such as canale 5, rete4 etc so people with older boxes and cards can no longer view these channels , does anyone have any info on whether or not there is a fix to the old cards/boxes or if a new receiver card is required .What a time.e to switch your customers off 4days before Xmas!

Must be pretty old cards affected - Canale 5 & Rete 4 are still decoding on my Tivu card which is quite a few years old.

Thats the perfect time - people will be at home more & will want their favourite channels, so will be more inclined to buy the neccessary upgrades to equipment.

Ah my card is in a Tivusat cam in my TM. In the past the TM would read the card but wouldnt update the authorisations on it
