tm-500 no power to lnb

my tm-500 has just stoped sending power to the lnb, can anyone tell me if it is worth tying to get repaired or is it scrap?
the unit still powers up and all works but just no power coming down the coax. i have had a meter on the lnb output but there is no reading at all? just hoping it will be something daft and cheap like a fuse inside or something.

Could be a fuse, but you might find that it will reset itself after a power down and reboot ................. once you've found the cause: Good starting points for investigation are cable damage, water ingress into cable, shorts at F connections.
 
thanks for the quick reply, cables etc are fine, i have an old tm-1000 and if i put that in the place of the 500 it works fine.
i have tested for power out the back of the 500 with it not connected to the dish/coax and there is no reading.
was hoping someone else has had the same problem and had an idea what it was or even a rough cost of the repair.
