HI all, about to buy a TM 5200D USB box which Iam reliably informed can be patched. Has anyone got a media clip showing how to do this either via null modem or memory stick? Never done it before, and don't want to crash anything!

Hi,

I have no media clip, but can confirm that is very easy to do with the cable.

You just plug in the lead, run the loader software, select the software tab, select the file (.stb) and press start. Then don't click on anything until it has finished. If you want a full tutorial then go to A l s a t, I'm pretty sure there's one on there.

With the USB it is apparently even easier, just plug in the USB memory, and go into the menu and select data transfer, so I've been told.

Well, I have had my TM1000 for about 9 months now, and not had a single problem with it. I shall take a look, cheers.
