TM7100 & TM2600 Super DiSEqC problems

Hi all desperate for help
This is my 1st ever post on a Forum only the second satellite system I have set up both have been motorised.

I purchased a new Quad LNB with a TM7100 HD PVR receiver and a new TM2600 Super DiSEqC for an existing 80cm offset Parobolic dish.

Presently I have a single cable running from the receiver ((tuner1) for set up) to the Motor and then to one out put on the LNB.

The motor moves via the manual button on the motor. But will not move when requested via the receiver in either the DiSEqC 1.2 mode or USAL.

I have tuned the receiver and set the dish up to Hotbird 13E and have very strong signal. I have loaded and saved all the satellite positions.

Any suggestion on why the Motor is not responding to the Receiver

Do I need to activate the DiSEqC 1.0 & 1.1 models if using DiSEqC 1.2?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated

Hi, Given you have the motor connected to tuner port 1 (which is the correct input to drive the motor), try a hard motor reset; it's not uncommon for the motor to lock up.

DiSEqC 1.0 & 1.1 is for LNb switching, not required.

Moved to dish set up section.

but just for clarity and before i bugger something up!!!
A Hard motor reset means pushing a small wire into the DiSEqC motor reset hole (a small hole to one side of the light on the motor)???

Or do you mean something else

I have reset the motor by pressing the reset next to operation light.
But I still cannot get the dish to move via the TH7100 TV control panel to tune in the Satellites.

The motor moves OK manualy from the motor button but not via the reciever?

Any other suggestions
The LNB is working and picking up a siganla as I have manualy tuned to Hotbird using a signal finder and focused the LNB to the dish.

The satellite cable is only 15m from recievr to dish so I should not be lousing power over that length.

If you've reset the motor and you are connected to tuner port 1 using DISEqC 1.2 commands then I can only suggest the motor is faulty if it is not moving. Check all connections from and to the motor.
