To any body/user some question with Nokia 8750S Receiver...

Nokia 8750S
My Location

Now my receiver need a smart card that come with local satelite operator to receive the Satelite Channel..

any of u is using this receiver?

  1. Can this receiver receive FTA Channel?(if yes... need smart card?)
  2. Can this receiver operate without smart card?

The fact that nobody has answered indicates that nobody that has logged on recently has one of these receivers. I notice you are in the USA, perhaps that is the problem, if it is not sold in Europe then it is unlikely that anyobe will own one.

actually this receiver is come with the satelite operator from malaysia...hsve u been hear for "ASTRO"?
 
Sorry I do not know what to tell you I have had a look here for your stb but it is not listed so it must be a clone or something.
 
yes...is this receiverAstro: DVB-S, embedded Mediaguard Astro Malaysia
the model mention in the warranty cad is DVB 8750 S
may i know the model before and after this model?
(pls:this receiver maybe is include in Nokia Mediamaster Series...)
