Torrevieja advice 28.2 East please

My Satellite Setup
Currently have a technomate 5300 and want to install suiable dish in the torrevieja area spain

Just recently arrived in the Torrevieja region of spain and want to set up a FTA sat system. I have a Technomate 5300 which i have brought with me from the UK . Can anyone advise what size dish,lnb etc would be best, there is a clear view at 28.2. deg. Preferrable a 1.2m dish as anything bigger would cause other asthetic probs Many Thanks

In brief: A quality 1.2m dish in that region should get you North/South beams and E-Bird from 28e.

You would require a larger dish of 1.8m to 2.4m depending on dish manufacture etc. to receive BBC, ITV and channel 4.

I'll sanction that - but whatever you do, stay away from Invacom LNBs (in my experience). Go for a low noise LNB (40mm) like the Darkman Gold.

In other words, ignore the advice of almost all experienced installers across Europe. Test evidence, please?
