Dear all,

I am new to satellite programing and just got a xcam with cas interface 2 with add on. I have put the xcam to virgin mode on block 2 and installed the firmware, must I again put the xcam in virgin mode on block 14 to update the softkeys???

ps> I have another xcam and the blocks are messed up, can I resue it with the cas programer. my reciever locks up everytime with the xcam istalled.
 
No, just load the softcamkey.

You should be able to reload the non-working CAM with the CAS2.

Do I pug the xcam into the cas main unit with the dummy card inside??
