I have a DreamBox 7020 with Gemini 2.6 and camd833 and recently noticed that TPS foot is displayed with some distortion at the top 5%ish of the screen. When I watch this channel it is inevitably for the footie and the normal broadcast is 4:3. My TV is a widescreen so if I manually switch to 16:9 I still get the distortion. I can have a distortion free image by using 'cinema' mode which removes the top/bottom of the image.

The distortion is not displayed on any other channel (including other TPS channels), so can I assume this is a feed issue, or could it be an issue with the dreambox or another part of the system?

thanks for your help

TPS foot is poor quality on my DB, most of the time it is unwatchable; other TPS all OK.

Strange one, am with Red devil, TPS foot is probably the best footy channel in terms visual quality I have available, and I have ART too. Sound is also good, no problems like ART, pity its in French mind.

Thank God that TPS is working, no problem here with 5620 newcamd and camd3. Try another image just to make sure. Is your dish alligned ok?

Same here TPS Foot is crystal clear all the time on 7000s. Isnt that why we went to digital to get rid of the sparklies.

Hi,

Been away for a bit and now only back to TPS foot due to nice D+ change :(.

In the interim I have upgraded my Gemini version (and forgot to save my channels - so rescanned everything),as well as upgrades to camd3. Picture seems fine again.

I dont think newcamd or gemini upgrade would have that effect - maybe I scanned 13degE from a stronger starting point? Strange but true. Happy now (well - would be happier with D+ back, but there you go....)

thanks all
