Transfering files to Dreambox Edit

Sky 1.5 m FTE dish Amiko Alien SHD8900 receiver, Gigablue Quad
& 80cm dish for Nilesat or badr with Amstrad sky receiver
Dreambox 500s motsat3 motor

Hi all. Have transfered from dreambox to dreambox edit several times without problems. I have made a bouquet of mp3 files on the dreambox and tried to transfer this bouquet to DBE but it doesn't seem to recognise it ( i want to sort the songs in a different order and transfer them back to drambox (sort of random play) the file is in the folder on pc when transfered but cant import it to DBE. Does anyone know if this can be done, should i be able to transfer any file to DBE? or is it just tv and radio?

No DBEdit just does channels. You need a box with a hard drive to put your mp3s on.

Thanks for your reply. do you know of any plug in to play mp3's and has a random play? i have seen Jukebox but think it's only a standard player

Firstly what box do you have and you can set up a cifs so you can stream your mp3's from you pc and if you have an e2 box there are many media centre plugins to play .mp3's
