A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Well a clone anyway

Where can I get hold of a 2SD 2579 NPN transistor in TO3PL casing ?

The nearest equivalent is a 2SC 5299

Both are 1500 v capable

If anyone has one lying about I will send them a couple of beer tokens

Thanks

1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 35 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.

There are apparently loads of equivalents

Does the job of - Color TV Horizontal Deflection Output Driver

Its from a common Bush 6690D 26" tube IDTV (vestel ak19 ?) from 2004.

Checked all other components and solder joints, just this transistor is short circuit.
