What does your LNB setup menu say.
Have you had this setup working before on another satellite ?

try adjusting the elevation a little and maybe also moving the dish slightly east or slightly west.it sounds to me that with a little bit of fine tuning you should be able to pick up maximum signal. GOOD LUCK!!

ps- let us know how you get on

Can you check the settings -

LNB power on, LOF1 9750 LOF2 10600 switch 11700 . If all OK then disconect your LNB cable after switching off first and then switch on again and see what you are getting.

Remove all CAM's an cards first then turn your box back on again.
Your LNB settings should be in the menu .

Right - are you sure you are on hotbird ?

Also the LNB settings (there are 3 that need to be set, 9750 10600 11700) in the menu need to be set like that.

If you are sure of these two things then try to look at some hotbird channels and you should get something. Have a look at 12597V 27500, BBC World should be there in the clear.

You should be able to set your LNB to Universal and see the results displayed as written above. Dont worry about the CAM until you have the reciever working.

Hmmm -
Cant drive one of those but surely there is an option to scan 1 transponder in the menu somewhere ?

Have you tried all the channels in the hotbird menu on your reciever?
What does the blurb say about manual transponder scan ?

Also - sorry mate to go back to basics are you sure you are on 13e?

You should be able to upload a sizeable file here easily.
Make sure it is a JPEG and not a Bitmap .
