hi guys been using a satlook micro g2 but cant source a screen so thinking of buying a trimax sm 3500 has anyone used one of these or got any comments please the screen looks better than my satlook to me but any comments appreciated

Not necessarily iwol, just perhaps that none of our members own one or have used one.
 
ive owned the 2500 and basically it was a stb+mini tv together... these types of cheap chinese meters are very poor in sunlight also and usually require some sort of bespoke shade, imo dont waste your money. regards mdt
 
Not used one, but have a similar Chinese type STB+Mini TV "meter", and mostly agree with the above. Its rubbish in sunlight, it cant be seen. Not a total waste of time as you can get them very cheap (£100), so I use it sometimes, mainly for the odd weak satellite. The contrast on the satlook is far better, and never had a problem reading that ever. So yes, could be ok for a cheap backup, but not for main meter.
