TRT World down on Turksat and 7 degrees East as military coup in progress.
 
All TRT channels showing the same loop with some woman talking, TRT World being nowt but static screen is poetic justice in my personal opinion.

also trt cocuk and trt muzik with static screen , trt belgesel with normal programing
 
I swear if this happened in this country Channel 5's Big Brother coverage would remain on whist all other terrestrial channels went off air, unless the "house" was hit by a JDAM's..........

turksat transponder 11054 v 30000 dvbs-2 , 11096 v 30000 en 11958 v 27500 now off air
on 7 east all trt programmas now black screen
 
RT have unconfirmed reports of military helicopter opening fire on TRT broadcast house, this is disgusting if true, whilst TRT World was a mouthpiece for the government the staff there are just doing their jobs.

The surreal thing is that there are still several channels on Turksat taking callers on the air for their late night interactive game shows!

All transponders working ok now on 42 east & 7 east,
Limited program content atm mainly re-broadcasting TRT News on most channels + TRT World.
 
I knew we were missing something over the past few weeks.

A Military Coup probably fits the bill.

And a failed one at that.
