True Movies Problem

Hello,

Over in Gran Canaria we have lost True Movies and TM2 on the Sky box, comes up with no Satellite Signal Being Received. But the signal is there as it can be watched on a normal sat box. Now if they have changed the PIDs for these channels surely that means people in the UK can not receive them (actually it seems to be all channels on 11.343). Is this the case?
 
Thanks. Yes 11.343 was the old transponder. This is still transmitting (pids must be set to zero as Sky box doesn't see it). 11.642 is new frequency and we can not get that here. Will be alot of upset women here!
 
If the pids were set to zero no box would see it! The epg datastream has been remapped to point at the new version so digiboxes look at the new version. The old version will be probably discontinued at some point soon.

The reason Gran Canaria cant see the channel now is that the old version was transmitted on the Eurobird 1 fixed beam. The new version is on the EB 1 steerable beam - which doesnt cover the Canaries :D
 
Well,suddenly, we can get true movies 1 and 2 in Cyprus now.
 
Yes - Cyprus is the other way round from the Canaries :D
 
So,lets hope they "lose" ITV 4 soon.(sorry canaries)
 
My previous comment only applies to the fixed beam & the steerable beam on Eurobird 1 :-rofl2

fixed - visible in the Canaries not Cyprus
steerable - visible in Cyprus not the Canaries
