Hi
I am currently securing the bracket to the wall for mounting a Triax TD64.(my first installation) and when I set the elevation of the dish to the 25 degrees I need to using the markings on the bracket it looks to me that the dish is still vertical and nowhere near 25 degrees.
Any help would be great
Thanks

the triax elevation bracket is not 100% accurate so you need to set the dish to that 25 degrees angle and then tweak it up/down from that angle to get the best signal

i take it your aligning the dish for astra 2 28east ?

Hi
Yes, Astra 2 28.2 East.
Is it better to use a template set to 25 degrees or is it not 'a true' 25 degrees from vertical. Is zero degrees in a different position.
Thanks

The triax is an offset dish, so when the dish face is vertical, it will in fact be pointing at and angle of around 26 degrees, so if the dish face is vertical, it isn't far off, all you then need to do is tweak it slowly up and down and East and West whilst monitoring the signal strength gauge on the receiver.

Thanks for that.It was the offset of 26 degrees that I wasn't aware of.
As usual if all else fails post a question
Many Thanks
