i want the tv set to get sat tv through a small dvb s2 tuner hidden behind the tv and connected by hdmi
my tv has HDMI simple link technology.
is there any small dvbs2 receivers with this technology

Note: (this technology allows you to control connected devices through the tv remote control)

I know of a couple that use USB ports for connection - The TBS5980 for example, the QBox(2) or the older Terratecs - but not a full HDMI device

Coolstream receivers have remote links via a web interface, not sure if the LG can utilise this option though, and they are not cheap.

You would be far better off with a receiver in view of the couch, or with a remote link system.

No mate, it is a heap of garbage, basically a concept receiver that made it into production then promptly died on its arse.

Thanks for the advice,i should go for dreambox then...
Funfact : dreambox is illegal in egypt thus its ILLEGALLY imported and distributed in Bab AL lok area near altahrir square :-Guill !
